New Life

This past Friday, I resigned from my teaching position. I finally became willing to admit that while I didn't know exactly what I WANTED to do with my life - career - wise, I knew for right now, it wasn't teaching public school. The decision-making was nearly excruciating, but the actual resigning was amazingly pain-free and it feels wonderful for FINALLY giving myself the benefit of the doubt that not only am I capable of figuring out who/what I want to be, but that I DESERVE to have or be whatever that is. :)

I LOVE the summer. . .

I know I am not alone in this adoration, but when I saw the light coming in the window of my room, after picking out a couple RedBox movies with Jacob; after a long afternoon nap - I couldn't deny it!
