Day 6: Last day of Pre-Planning!

Gasp! School starts tomorrow! And right now it's pouring down rain outside. Rainy-first-day? Craziness! Over the weekend, my Grandma fell and was in a coma for part of the day Saturday, so Jacob and I went up to Jesup to visit her. We didn't get home until 2:30am this morning, so - - my efforts for getting ready for school suffered a bit. I think I only took one pic:

 

Yeah. . I was super tired!

PS. I went out with a man while I was home and I had an AMAZING time!

Day 5: Work Day/OPEN HOUSE!

2 outfits today.  Morning was meetings and work in rooms/evening was OPEN HOUSE! yay! lol
Had fun today with Danielle and Merrilee. :)

Day 4: Casual "work-in-your-room" Preplanning day

Today was my first "Steering Team" meeting - -I am the special area team leader. Yay! We also had a Crisis Management Team meeting - -also on that. . . yay. lol Anyway, pics:

 I'm gonna add some solid paper behind the "we choose respect" cuz you totally can't see it clearly! whoops! lol

 Not sure what will go on here. . .maybe instrument families.

I'm excited/proud of this: plan is to post each day or week a very short focus for what each grade level is working on in music. . will post actually objectives/essential questions elsewhere, but this is a good focal point/start.

Day 3 - Professional Study Day

Soooo today, all the elementary music teachers for our district met together at one of the middle schools for Professional Study Day. It was good, but very hot, a little redundant, and tiring, but still worth it. . . I think anyway, lol. Either way, I had to be there, lol.

Day 2 - Pre-planning

 Today was the 2nd day of Pre-Planning. Got quite a bit accomplished, but still have a very long way to go before open house on Friday! Started to feel extremely overwhelmed about lesson planning and things like that around 3, but thankfully then it was time to start winding down to head home.

 Yep. Need to work on my toes/shoes situation. . .

 I got stung by something while carrying Bass Xylophones to the other music teacher's truck for tomorrow's Professional Study Day. Ouch!
