Did your Grandpa die?
Yes - he had been in a nursing home for a couple of years, and at my parents' house for 6 months before that. On August 29 (I think that's the date. . .) he had a major stroke, and we were told he probably wouldn't wake up. He DID wake up the next day, but went back to "sleep" the following day, and passed away the next day. He was 90 years old, and all in all, my grandma feels very blessed about how things happened - he did not suffer at all those last few days as far as we could tell.
